The exams are almost done. Time to learn a new and useful skill. Now is your chance! Join us in a course of stick welding together with WOT.
Do you remember building a drink board together with your do group during the Kick-In? That was with WOT, a student organization with a passion for technology and development. They test and design extremely affordable technologies for use in developing countries.
For this course, they will teach you how to stick weld, an approachable method used worldwide and that can even be done underwater! What you will be making is still a surprise, but it will be square.
You don't need any experience, so just come with some friends and learn something new!!!
Some practical details:
- Overalls and workshop gloves are available.
- Jewelry should be taken off and hair should be tied up.
- It is recommended to not wear nylon clothes, just to be safe.
