LOOKING FOR ACTIVISTS
Did you really like First Years Weekend when you were a first year, and do you want to experience it again whilst also helping out? Maybe being an activist is something for you! We are looking for people who want to help out at First Years Weekend. This is regarding various tasks, such as leading activities, setting things up, cleaning, etc. You'll still be able to participate in parties, and additionally, you'll get a discount on the participation fee!
The weekend starts on the afternoon on Friday the 16th of October (after lectures) and will end around lunchtime on Sunday the 18th of October. The theme this year is 'Wild West', so bring the wildest and westest version of yourself!
We will leave around 17.30 from Horst by bike, but the location is also reachable by bus (you'll still have to walk for a bit, though). On Sunday, we will get back to the Horst at the beginning of the afternoon, so you still have some time to rest before the week starts again.
More info about the packing list, times, and locations will be communicated to those who sign up using a WhatsApp group that you will be added to! For now, we can tell you that you need to bring your own sleeping pad! P.S. We're not exactly sure yet how many people we need, so signing up does not guarentee a spot. The board will review the sign ups for the First Years Weekend and for the activists and make a choice based on that.
